I read a good review on it, it sounds awesome, and at least one poster on these forums who played in the beta says it's like Guild Wars in space....which sounds pretty cool.

Gamespot player reviews are generally good.

Anyone here have any impressions?...it seems to be a fairly immersive mmo with awesome graphics (too heavy for my rig at this point) and will prolly charge a monthly fee though

I looked at it too... seemed interesting. The biggest complaint and thing that will keep me from playing it is the monthly fee and lack of time. My lack of time to play makes it hard for me to justify paying $15 a month for it.

I only played it for a few hours during beta, but it looks good. The one major grievance is you cannot strafe, and taking cover often does not have much of an effect. The target lock system is cool though.

I remember reading somewhere that the reason there is a monthly fee is because of built in voice chat, maybe they will have a non-fee version without that?

I played the beta for 4 months. It has nice graphics but the game was bugged to hell. It would crash without warning (yaay for instability), caused you to get stuck anywhere even in mid air (for no reason), and certain quests would not activate. Also lots of the quest items you needed took forever to spawn. Support took forever to find a solution to problems.

There's lots of stupid things in the game. Like they have portals to get to other zones if you get to them and activate them. But, no form of transportation to get through zones. You have to actually run and gun the same AI and crap to get to the next zone. /yawn For a futuristic game it fails. I could go on but it makes me sick. The monthly fee kills it even more. Save your money imo
